Activant’s ACTiF software proving its worth to parts manufacturers
4th January 2007 -- Activant is pleased to announce the release of ACTiF, Activant Industry Format, the newest initiative in maintaining MasterCat’s position as the aftermarket’s leading electronic parts catalogue.
ACTiF provides parts manufacturers with access to the MasterCat cataloguing process directly and online, allowing them to maintain and add catalogue data themselves, thereby ensuring parts resellers receive the latest product information in an accelerated time frame and with the fullest possible information, consequently helping them to sell more parts and boost profitability.
ACTiF is a free utility to MasterCat supplier partners and is fully supported with comprehensive training and support, as part of Activant’s highly successful Virtual Classroom programme. With more than 35 aftermarket manufacturers registered to www.mastercat.co.uk and ACTiF, suppliers now have the ability to see and maintain their own catalogue data.
Handling both single and multiple item updates, ACTiF has been developed to reflect the flexibility needed by manufacturers’ catalogue teams. Complementing this is the additional functionality for loading complete new catalogues, again focusing on delivering high quality, validated parts data to the point of sale in a timely fashion.
With MasterCat having an audience in excess of 5,500 access points throughout the UK and Ireland, VRM, Cover-to-Cover extended parts base and now ACTiF are combining together to ensure MasterCat is becoming an essential part of a parts resellers IT solution.
