Customers to Benefit from new Prophet 21 - B2B Seller eCommerce Functionality

The latest release of Prophet 21’s eCommerce suite, B2B Seller version 5.6, allows wholesale distributors to continue to expand their customer reach beyond traditional markets, to the growing online market. With new functionality offering further flexibility and effectiveness, version 5.6 continues to motivate distributors’ customers and prospects alike, to trade online.

Special Functionality for Activant Prophet 21 ERP:

B2B Seller fully integrates with Prophet 21®, a leading solution within the Activant Distribution Suite, and acts as an additional customer support representative 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The latest release of B2B Seller provides discounts for shoppers using the Distributor’s site, that they would be unable to get if they were to buy from them in any other way. Bespoke discounts can be offered on any of the following levels:

Every Web shopper (even anonymous shoppers)
All logged in shoppers
Customer-based discounts by customer ID
Shopper-based discounts
Items on your system-wide lists (customer and site)
Specific-item discounts

Other new functionality includes:

Have temporary, non-stock, or items that would typically not update to the B2B Seller shopping cart, added to the shopping cart but still exclude those items from Search results, Item Details and Quick Order Pad.
A login prompt will display for anonymous shoppers when they reach the Shipping/Billing stage of the order process. This reminds the shopper that they have not logged in.
For persistent cart users. New options will be provided to your site administrators to indicate how a shopper's persistent cart should behave when a shopper shopping anonymously logs into the site.

B2B Seller offers distributors the tools they need to service customers 24 hours a day, seven days a week. B2B Seller allows them to extend their geographic reach and increase market share, without incurring the cost of additional employees or even new premises.
