Samuels Inc. and Auto Supply Company Implement Powerful Solution To Support Long-Term Growth, Increased Operational Efficiency
LIVERMORE, CA, November 3, 2009 – The innovative Activant Vision® business management system from Activant Solutions Inc. is proving to be popular among two- and three-step distributors who are members of the ACDelco Dedicated Distribution Group (DDG) and Motorcraft Ford Authorized Dealer (FAD) network.
Samuels Inc., a two-step distributor with multiple warehouses serving New Jersey, replaced its business platform with the Activant Vision solution in late September. A second DDG and FAD member, Auto Supply Company, Inc., a 22-location chain servicing North Carolina and the Roanoke Valley of Virginia, will soon go “live” with its Activant Vision system.
“As we grew from one warehouse to three, we needed to find a way to simplify our ordering processes and the movement of products among our locations.
